Featured Artist!

I know, I've been slacking on the featured artist thingy, but I have been swamped in designs!!! :-) It's hard work doing those marketing sets....

When Dani first e-mailed me some of her images I was really impressed. Her work is quite refreshing, so I knew I wanted to feature her. Here is my short little q&a with her:

Photography is my passion, but teaching at risk teens is my main source of income. I guess that makes me a hobbyist.

3. Color or b/w?
Both.

4. Main source of inspiration?
Life, love, and my incredible husband inspire me to be creative and push myself every day.

5. If you could fly any photographer out to do your family photos, who would it be? Why?
Definitely Nate and Jaclyn Kaiser of the Image is Found because their work is amazingly beautiful and it has such personality and humor.

6. What's the first thing you think of in the morning?
Is it already 6:30??!!

7. Favorite piece of equipment?
My new Canon 5D!! I'm currently drooling over a 50mm f1.2 that I don't own yet.

8. What makes your workflow flow?
Workflow? You mean it's suposed to flow? I haven't quite got this down yet.

9. How many rings before you answer the phone?
2.5

10. Do you eat the stems of broccoli?
Yum, I love the whole broccoli.

11. Are you a glass half empty or half full kinda girl?
My cup runneth over!!

12. Action junkie?
I try not to over do it with actions but I'm currently addicted to the Boutwells Totally Rad Actions.

13. What photography blogs are you addicted to?
The Blog is Found, Jasmine Star Blog, and Bludomain are all daily doses of inspiration.

14. What one photography item would you purchase if money was no issue?
The Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III and the Canon 50mm f1.2 USM lens. I know you said one, but I want BOTH!! Can't I have it all??!!

15. And, finally, can you juggle?
No, though I've always wanted to learn.
